A better description or emphasis on Adam’s “respectable” is that. It takes galls, guts, cajones to try and do a synchronize attack. And coach Donnie commented on this as well Jozenji is a scrap up team of all sort of athletics. Baseball, basketball, soccer people who play volleyball maybe because off season. And only an athletic team would be really close to doing a syncro attack( which they actually almost pulled off)!

In terms of the strength to enjoy situation is that it goes for all recreation and leisure activities. In the recreation field we use something called the leisure ability model which compares the degree of control vs the degree of freedom. The more capable your abilities the more control you have over the activity this the freedom to have more fun

SHOUT TO MY RECREATIONAL TEAM!!! We won our tournament by focusing on basics and always setting to the buffest dudes 😅 but still we really came together from a group of strangers to a lil team and are SOOO looking forward to leveling up & facing teams in the "intermediate" league!

I don't know if "respect" is the right word, but I'd say it can be endearing how committed to finding whatever sparks joy for them, however impulsive it may be to the outside world. Their biggest issue is they still need _some_ amount of delayed gratification.

I love when Sarah does literally anything different with her hair. Ik it's OBVIOUSLY not the focus of the show and the reaction always got me HYPED, but it's just fun to be like "ooh yes gurl love the hair down look it's cute!!"

GREETINGS to Lydia, in someway, the Daichi of this team!!!! I wrote it in my Comment`s PD, but with this chapter, I feel she deserve a little comment love just for her.

I feel that I have to much to say! First is first: DAICHI had love! I`m so partial to Suga and Daichi for how they are and their history of two years of stay in a team that was crumbling that... love when they receive the love they deserve. Daichi is so low key, not only for his position, in his role too: is so fundamental because he is allways there, making sure the team has their mental game on top with his comments and I love that, but we allways have it and is difficult to value without being point out. Second what Sarah ask: Well, sorry Adam, "respect" is a strong word for me, I`m more with Sarah in this. I can understand the team, I can seen them with resignation and think "that boys, this is so them" and even see the fun in how they are. But, respect? No, not that much, maybe a little envy... But because I`m not a competitive person and I can see that have fun is fun, the goal is that, not wining. When they say "To have fun you have to have strenght" (Or something like that) I though in mental strenght, not only in... fisical strenght. What Daichi have, by the way. I though about the ability to live something difficult, aknowledge it but not crumbling in anxiety about it and keep going. That is important when they make mistakes or have a difficult rival in front of them. With that strenght, the fear not shadows the experience and that make more easy to feel the fun. I feel I`am forgeting something... O well, if I remember, I`m going to be back... I REMEMBER!!! Very happy for both of you and the people that you meet! It seems that even the two hours of Adam not seeing the movie was good because both of you, and more that 30 persons, has such a good time!!! So much that you are doing it again!!! Have fun you too! OMG!!! I forgot that I forgot another one!!! Suga playing is allways heartwarming, but that a new atacker came from the bench and play so well is SO GOOD to see! And that is all! Have a good week. I really think Daichi is Furudate's favorite. There's so much subtle and sometimes direct recognition from other characters showcasing how good of and leader and/or player he is.

Sarah’s face to the characters Adam likes and/or respects gets me every time. There’s a few characters that come to mind but there is one specifically further into the future of the series who comes to mind especially.

Slight translation error here in the anime; when they say 'Place to play', it's an accurate translation, but it works far better in English as 'Playground'. In order to 'play around' you need to build a 'playground'. The idea is that Jozenji's core concept is actually great; it allows them a lot of freedom and versatility and keeps them high energy throughout the whole game, but if it's not built on a solid foundation of game sense and awareness it's just flailing. They got away with this with their old captain building that 'playground' for them, but now he's gone they're starting to crumble.

I think Jozenji really represents the value of freedom, or conversely what you don't get with restraint; sure the synchro play flubs terribly and was objectively a bad idea, but it's a result of the team having absolutely no fear when it comes to trying something new or experimenting with what they already do, because that's what makes any hobby fun. It reminds me of Hinata going after an improved quick rather than working on basic game skills. It looks great with hindsight, but it was objectively the wrong decision for him to make when it came to the stability of the team. But that's irrelevant, because WITHOUT embracing that instability, Karasuno would've never evolved enough to make it to nationals. There's so much value in not taking the game so seriously, and letting yourself be free to fuck up. You learn a lot from every failure and basically nothing from success.

(spoiler) I love seeing Sarah get so annoyed at Johzenji trying stuff they never practiced like who does that??- like Inarizaki doesnt try and SUCCEED at doing so 😂
